Writing Prompts - Coral, Quake, Skip
The coral, home to so many started to quake with loud bangs. The fish raced to safety from this unknown enemy; who would surely swallow them whole if it caught them. Parents were hiding their nests, hoping that if not all then at least some would survive. The continued shaking making it hard for starfish to keep their grip on their chosen perches. Unfamiliar eyes staring down on the stragglers, with a sharp interest.
‘Um, excuse me little girl, but you shouldn’t tap on glass. See it’s scaring all the fish,’ one of the aquarium’s guides said to the young lady. She paused for a moment looking at the guide, then the fish that were now hiding away from her. Confused she asked, ‘Why would they be scared of me?’ The guide sighed and explained as best he could, ‘well they’re such small creatures that you look like a giant, and what you hear as a tap, they hear as a giant bang, okay?’ She thought for a moment before turning to the fis
